If simple measures of hand washing, using clean water, and eliminating open defecation were adopted it is anticipated that millions of deaths from diarrhoea, pneumonia and parasites may be prevented across Africa.  Critical Care International conducted a 4 week programme of WASH education sessions to local schools, healthcare workers and community groups. This initial campaign and subsequent WASH-focussed community healthcare engagement has increased local awareness of simple life-saving interventions and improved engagement between the client and diverse stakeholders in the local population.

As governments around the world continue to grapple with the pandemic, Critical Care International is working with organisations operating throughout the world to help them stay one step ahead of the virus.
