Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene

Through working in highly regulated industries operating in remote environments, Critical Care International (CCI) has an in-depth understanding of the occupational health and industrial hygiene requirements of its clients.

CCI develops and implements for its clients a full suite of occupational health and industrial hygiene programmes, including:

  • Pre-employment, annual and post-employment/exit health assessments
  • Definition of Risk Exposure Group and relative occupational health examination panel and surveillance requirements
  • Health impacts of industrial factors (such as noise, vibration and airborne pollutants, lead, silica)
  • Additional screening / surveillance measures for safety-critical personnel
  • Industrial hygiene surveillance, such as spirometry, audiometry, visual acuity etc
  • Drug and alcohol screening and testing programs

Our approach is to help our clients build their occupational health and industrial hygiene programs by supervising and training  local medical staff to implement occupational health assessments, under the direction and supervision of CCI’s medical experts.

In terms of industrial hygiene and risk assessment CCI is able to perform reviews done by NEBOSH-certified consultants.
