Case Study

Multiagency Engagement

Regional facilitators for multiagency engagement

Parts of rural West Africa suffer from poverty, malnutrition, inadequate sanitation as well as limited access to appropriate health care and education.  Whilst many national and international agencies are attempting to help address these issues, in some cases these efforts don’t reach remote areas due to a lack of local advocates and facilitators. Critical Care International has in-depth experience of engaging and collaborating effectively with these highly-funded and focussed external agencies, facilitating a ‘beach head’ for projects in the local communities. Organizations with whom Critical Care International have collaborated in West Africa include National, Regional and local health authorities, USAID, President’s Malaria Initiative, Soutoura, Entraide Mali, UNICEF, World Food Program, Marie Stopes, World Vision and Malian Blood Bank.
