The safe operation and management of industrial processes requires a workforce trained and competent in the treatment of a range of common first aid injuries and emergencies. At multiple sites our deployed physicians are responsible for delivering first aid teaching to client employees to ensure the workforce is able to deliver immediate care at the scene of injury while awaiting arrival of the Critical Care International doctor.
All such first aid courses are delivered following the design of a site-specific syllabus developed in collaboration with client health and safety management. Core topics include assessment of the injured or unwell patient, CPR, cervical spine control, management of bleeding and burns care. All sessions are hands-on and interactive and feedback is collected throughout the course to guide future improvements.
