Local Nurse Education

Critical Care International initiated a shadowing rotation at a mine site medical facility for nursing students who study a three year nursing program to earn their diploma. This allowed nurses to build upon acquired skills in a supportive, well-organised clinical environment with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice, lifelong learning and patient-centred care. Skills taught play a role in raising medical standards in the local area, impacting the future care of members of the community and continues to build on existing community ties with the local hospital and the community.
